Blind and Deaf Dog Gets to Live the “Carpe Diem” Way

Live is meant to be lived to the fullest, whether you’re a human or a dog. The same goes whether you have disabilities or not. Whatever your situation in life is, whatever your physical condition, you deserve a good life.

One amazing dog shows us how to do this. Arlo is a blind and deaf dog, rejected by a breeder for his obvious disabilities. Arlo’s future was bleak¬†until he met his new mom,¬†Mary Kate Short, who fell in love with him at first sight. Soon, Mary Kate discovered that caring for and living with a blind and deaf dog isn’t so drastically different from raising a dog that can see and hear. Arlo is surprisingly rambunctious and lives to seize the day, every day. To keep up with his energy, Mary Kate decided to adopt a friend for him. And since disability wasn’t an issue, she adopted Amelia, another deaf dog. How does Arlo take to his new friend?
